CBS has been selected among 30 enterprises to receive mentoring on Intellectual Property (IP) Mentoring Program.
The IP Program is designed to offer IP assistance to innovative SME’s from the Western Balkans Region, spanning all technology fields. Program is funded by the European Investment Bank Support Programme 2 on Intangible Assets and Intellectual Property in Western Balkan countries. The initiative is part of the Western Balkans Enterprise and Development and Innovation Facility (WB EDIF).
The IP project is implemented by ClearViewIP, a leading global intellectual property consulting based in UK.
CBS has received national and regional attention with the development of a suite of innovative and tech-oriented products.
The new products convert CBS’s expertise in Agriculture, Access to Finance and Tourism into practical contemporary products. One of these products, LORES (www.lores.al) is a peer-to-peer lending platform that has generated over $7 Million loans to agribusinesses across Albania.
Two others, IntoAlbania (IntoAlbania.com) and AGIS (Agis.al) combine elements such as data content and e-commerce in a new way with the goal of facilitating trade and new investments.
Under the EIB project, CBS will be receiving technical assistance to evaluate the potential of products such as LORES to compete in global markets.
The project will serve as a technical evaluation of CBS’ goal to file a patent in regional and international markets.
