Alban Duka is the New Product Developer at CBS. He comes with an international expertise at the intersection of finance and innovation. In his role, Mr. Duka is responsible for conceptualizing CBS’s new digital products, liaising the company with the local innovation ecosystem and investigating alternative ways of financing SMEs, primarily private equity and venture capital. He began his career with an internship at ING Bank in Amsterdam where he built and developed econometric models to capture seasonality for some classes of financial instruments. Alban then joined a private equity firm in Amsterdam, Composition Capital Partners, where he was responsible for developing the firm’s investment strategy for 10 Southeast Asian countries. Beyond his work experience, he has taught and engaged as a research assistant at the Universities of Utrecht, Rotterdam and Frankfurt. Alban has completed his Bachelor studies in Economics at the University of Utrecht and his Master studies in Quantitative Risk Management at Duisenberg School of Finance. Three years ago, he began the PhD program in Quantitative Finance at Frankfurt’s Goethe University.
